Gigi Hadid follows Varun Dhawan on Instagram, thanks him for making her Bollywood dream come true

‘Judwaa 2’ actor Varun Dhawan received huge backlash for lifting supermodel Gigi Hadid in his arms and kissing her during the opening ceremony of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). Many internet users targeted the actor for his behavior as Gigi looked visibly uncomfortable.

Now, the supermodel has reacted to the incident and thanked the Student of The Year (SOTY) actor for making her Bollywood dreams come true. Re-sharing a video of Varun lifting her in his arms, Gigi wrote, “@Varundvn making my Bollywood dreams come true,” followed by laughing emoticons.

Fed up with the trolling, Varun Dhawan also issued a clarification and wrote, “I guess today you woke up and decided to be woke. So lemme burst ur bubble and tell u it was planned for her to be on stage so find a new Twitter cause to vent about rather than going out and doing something about things. Good morning.”

Soon Varun Dhawan fans came out in support of their favourite star and slammed the trolls for targeting him.

“I swear to god, if I see one more woke liberal saying Varun Dhawan kissed Gigi’s cheek without consent, I will throw hands like are you dumb? Everything is scripted… she already knew and it’s so visible all of them were having a gala time. Now everyone just shut up,” commented a fan in his support.

Another fan wrote, “In this world, even if you try hard you won’t be able to be a Varun Dhawan, so don’t even try.”

Varun Dhawan gave a tremendous performance and was joined by superstar Shah Rukh Khan and the livewire of Bollywood Ranveer Singh. SRK set the stage on fire with his Jhoome Jo Pathaan dance and the crowd went crazy after he recreated his iconic signature step.
