Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary today. To mark the day, the Zero actress shared a series of handpicked goofy images of them over the years to wish her hubby in a quirky manner.
Taking to Instagram, Anushka shared the pictures which she captioned, “What better day than today to post these lovely pictures to celebrate us, my love!” with heart emojis.
She also gave a hilarious commentary for each of the pictures she shared and revealed each picture is a commitment that they made each other five years ago.
“Pic 1 - me knowing you’ve always got my back Pic 2- forever holding gratitude in our hearts ( both getting incredibly lucky) Pic 3 - You resting on hospital bed a day-after my long and painful labour Pic 4 - Us keeping fine taste in things Pic 5- some random fellow Pic 6- you making most of my photos un-post-able with ur unique expressions. Soon after the ‘Pari’ actor shared the pictures, fans swamped the comments section and dropped red heart and laughing emoticons.
Virat responded to Anushka’s post and wrote, “You definitely have the best photos of me” followed by a man's faceplaming emoji and a couple of smiley emojis in the comment section.
He also commented, “My love” with hearts and infinity emojis in another comment.
Meanwhile, Virat shared a beautiful picture of them to wish Anushka a happy anniversary and wrote, “5 years on a journey for eternity. How blessed I am to find you, I love you with all my heart.”
The power couple got married in a fairytale wedding amid close family and friends on 11 December 2017 in Tuscany, Italy. The duo welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Vamika in 2021.
