Karan Johar’s ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ turned out to be a trendsetter of the 90s and received an overwhelming response from the audience and critics alike, turning out to be a global blockbuster.

The romantic drama starring superstar Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Kajol, and Salman Khan in pivotal roles was released on October 16, 1998, and will celebrate its 25th anniversary next Monday. On this occasion, the makers of the movie have decided to re-release the movie. Fans will get a chance to relive the love story of Rahul, Anjali, and Tina.

Sharing the good news with fans, Dharma Productions took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and wrote, “Hum ek baar jeete hai, ek baar marte hai aur #KuchKuchHotaHai special screening ka mauka bhi ek hi baar milta hai!”

“At PVR INOX (Mumbai) on 15th October - time to relive the magic!🤩” they added.

However, the good news has not gone down well with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan fans who demanded the movie to be screened in other parts of the country too.

“It's not fair with only 1 theatre of @_PVRCinemas  with 2 show's for a movie with such huge fan base. Request you to please increase more show's and screen in all @_PVRCinemas  inox theatre. The 2 show's r already booked by black marketers it seems. @iamsrk  @itsKajolD  pls intervene,” commented a user.

Another user wrote, “The people in Kolkata also deserves to watch KKHH on its 25th anniversary & here we have one of the craziest fan base of @iamsrk sir & Karan Johar's movies...Pls have a screening of KKHH in Kolkata also.”
