Achieving success in the CA exam demands a lot of hard work and commitment. The Chartered Accountant exam is considered one of the toughest exams like UPSC and IIT-JEE, but it’s definitely achievable with proper planning and guidance.

Recently, during an interview, Union Minister Piyush Goyal revealed how he locked himself up in a room for almost one and half months and focused entirely on his CA exam. A chartered accountant, who is currently serving as a cabinet minister in the Government of India, Goyal also revealed how he was initially terrified and had given up all hopes.

Goyal revealed that he had made up his mind to drop the exam. However, a friend came to his rescue and motivated him to do well.

“I was really on the verge of not taking my final exam in November 1987 when I appeared for it. I had already made up my mind that I would drop out for this year and appear in the coming year. Then, a friend happened to ask me why I was dropping the exam that year. I told him that I was not prepared enough and my result would be worse,” Goyal revealed.

He added, “Then, my friend really pumped me up and said that I could do it. You have to do it. Then, I also was firm to anyhow write the exam. After being inspired by my friend, I locked myself up in a room for about a month and a half. Rest, you need to focus.”

For all CA aspirants, there are a few proven tips to crack CA in the first attempt.
