Millions of UPSC aspirants spend years to crack the Civil Services Exam (CSE), one of the toughest exams in the world. Despite all the hard work and years spent, only a handful manage to crack it.

However, IAS Kartik Jivani cracked the UPSC exam not once or twice, but thrice. Yes, you read that right! Kartik achieved his first milestone by securing AIR-94 in UPSC CSE 2019. Although he qualified for Indian Police Services (IPS), he had made up his mind that he would become an IAS.

So, he continued his relentless efforts while balancing his IPS training in Hyderabad. He adhered to a rigorous 10-hour study schedule, focusing on clever studies then hard work. Kartik once again reappeared for the exam and climbed ten ranks to secure an impressive AIR-84.

However, he once again could not qualify for the IAS. Instead of being dejected, he focused on both his IPS and preparation. Notwithstanding the challenges and setbacks, Kartik continued to pursue his dream of becoming an IAS.

Finally, his hard work paid off and he achieved a remarkable rank of AIR-8 to fulfill his dream of becoming an IAS, clinching the title of Gujarat’s top candidate. His triumphant journey from a determined UPSC aspirant to a distinguished IAS officer is a testament to his perseverance and unwavering determination.

For the unversed, Kartik hails from Gujarat and has completed his Mechanical Engineering degree from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai. It was during his final year at college when he decided to get into public services and began his UPSC preparation.
