Ahead of the publication of the much awaited Class 10 and 12 board examination results, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) issued some important instructions for all regional directors and officers.

In its latest circular, the CBSE has directed Regional Directors and officers to visit schools to verify the work done by the schools under their jurisdiction.

The senior officers of the Regional office have also be instructed to visit the schools for the purpose.

“ As the schools are preparing their results of class 10 and 12 and as a first step to ensure that policy issued by CBSE is implemented effectively, it has been decided that immediately schools are visited by the officials of the Regional Offices,” CBSE letter read.

The CBSE has categorically instructed the concerned officials to conduct surprise inspection without prior information and intimation to schools.

“In order to have actual information of the result work of the schools, it may be ensured that while visiting the schools, no prior intimation be given to the schools and only sudden inspection is carried out. For completing this responsibility, it is necessary that all the officials involved in this work get themselves fully accustomed to the Tabulation policy of the Board,” the CBSE letter read.

Clear instructions have been issued to the officials to ensure that the inspections are taken up in such manner so that each category of schools- Private/Govt/KVS/NVS are covered.

The officials have been asked to prepare point-wise report of each school. The official visiting the school will also sign on documents inspected especially rationale documents.

“A complete report duly signed by officials alongwith soft copy of the documents (may take picture), be sent to the undersigned by Monday (July 12, 2021 by 12 noon),” the letter added.
