Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) Reiterating its demand  for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC)  probe into the 2G spectrum scam, BJP today said arrest of former Union Telecom Minister A Raja was not enough to reveal the whole scam. The party wanted Raja’s Godfathers to be exposed.

National General Secretary of BJP, Dharmendra Pradhan, ex-MP, who was in Steel City here after campaigning for for Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda yesterday for Kharswan assembly by-poll staled for February 10, said the action initiated against Raja was too little and too late but BJP wanted the government to initiate concrete action to unearth Raja?s Godfathers involved in the scam. "Why Congress is so fearful about JPC?" he asked.
Pradhan, claimed that the opposition rallied around BJP, which has effectively raked up issues such 2G, CWG scam, price rise, black money in and outside the floor of the house.

Asked whether Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa issue had any adverse impact on the image of the party fighting corruption, Pradhan, who is also the in-charge of party affairs in Karnataka, said it was not at all an issue in the state as people were very much aware that the opposition was indulged in "misinformation campaign" against Yeddyurappa.

The Karnataka government has already set up a Commission to probe the allegation made by the opposition party as well as the denotification of land done by the state governments during last 15 years, he said.
