Rourkela: A CRPF jawan was arrested on Friday for allegedly providing information about anti-Naxal operations to Maoists in Sundargarh district.

The accused identified as Satyaban Bhoi, was working in CRPF`s intelligence wing and was posted in the 19th battalion of the paramilitary force in Bisra.

He was passing on information to rebel outfits active in Orissa and Jharkhand, police said. He was in constant touch with Digha area commander Muslim. This apart, an accomplice of Satyaban has also been arrested. Maoist posters, literatures, explosives, dress and mobile phones have been recovered from his home.
