Is the morale of burglars high or is there something wrong as far as policing is concerned in Bhubaneswar? Such questions have become valid after burglary incidents are increasingly being reported from different parts of the smart city.

Serial burglary incidents have now become a regular feature in Bhubaneswar, thereby creating fear in the minds of the residents of the Capital city. As per reports, as many as 34 flats in 14 apartments in Bhubaneswar have been burgled in the last six months.

Though Commissionerate Police had tried to allay fear after claiming to have busted a gang behind apartment thefts, there has been no check on burglary incidents which are still being reported every alternate day in Bhubaneswar.
