Nandankanan Zoo officials brutally thrashed inside office by armed youths  

Two miscreants attacked officials of the Nandankanan Zoological Park and vandalised office equipment on Monday. 

As per reports, two miscreants allegedly entered the office of the zoo and misbehaved and attacked assistant zoologist, Dr Rajesh Mohapatra, ACF Dr Sudipta Kumar Panda and Dr Rashmi Ranjan Swain.

It was also alleged that the miscreant duo vandalised office equipment like computer, laptop, printer, TV and other furniture. They also damaged the laptop and mobile phone of the audit officer. 

The entire act was captured in the CCTV camera installed at the office. 

In this regard, the police have lodged a complaint and initiated a probe. The reason behind such attack on zoo officials and vandalism is yet to be ascertained. A manhunt has also been launched to nab the culprits.
