Chandigarh bar dancer found dead at her rented house in Bhubaneswar outskirts

A girl was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Shivsakti Nagar under Pahala police limits in Bhubaneswar outskirts on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Ruchi (name changed) who hailed from Chandigarh.

She was working at a dance bar at Cuttack Road, said sources. The body of the girl bar dancer was recovered lying in a pool of blood on Friday.

As per initial reports, around 25 girls were staying in the building at Shivshakti Nagar. Prima-facie it appears to be a case of suicide.

Senior police officials have reached the spot and started investigation into the matter. Chats, mobile call records and other social media accounts of the deceased bar dancer will be examined, sources said.
