Woman creates flutter outside residence of PM

New Delhi: A woman created a flutter near Prime Minister`s Residence here tonight by levelling allegations in front of the media that a retired IPS officer was demanding sexual favours from her and was soon whisked away by police. The incident took place when the UPA government`s third anniversary celebrations were going on inside the Race Course road residence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The woman, who hails from Yamuna Nagar in Haryana, came in a two-wheeler and went to the spot outside the residence where media had gathered to cover the event. As she gave bytes to TV channels levelling allegations against the retired IPS official, some police personnel came up to her and asked her to leave. She was later whisked away by police. Her vehicle was also taken away. Police said they had not detained her.
