Blackheads are very difficult to remove. For those with oily or combination skin, a blackhead is a regular problem and despite following a standard cleansing routine they keep on showing up. Women are more or less troubled by these little developments during their hormonal changes especially during pregnancy and menstrual periods. So is there any way to remove them at home?

1. Baking Soda And Water Paste

Baking soda is easily available in your kitchen. But do you know that it is extremely beneficial in the removal of blackheads? According to experts, baking soda is extremely helpful in neutralizing pH imbalance and also works as a good exfoliant effective in removing dead skin cells, excess oil and dirt. For treating blackheads, mix two tablespoons of water and equal quantity of baking soda and form a paste. Massage the paste on the blackhead-affected area and rinse after it dries with warm water. Since baking soda has a drying tendency, it is advisable to apply moisturizer after it.

2. Exfoliating With Brown Sugar, Lemon, And Honey

The mixture of honey, brown sugar and lemon juice form a good exfoliation solution that can remove blackheads from chin and nose effectively. For preparing this mixture mix one tablespoon of raw honey with an equal amount of brown sugar and two tablespoons of lemon juice. Apply it to the affected area in a circular motion.

Continue the massage for five minutes and then rinse off. Apply moisturizer after drying the face.

3. Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree oil is rich in anti-bacterial properties. According to beauty experts, you can directly apply this oil on chin and nose where blackheads are more prominently located. The oil is also available in various products like creams and soaps. You can also use tea tree essential oil for the purpose.
