Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan today visited Charu Khandal, the young National Award-winning animator who is recuperating at a hospital here after suffering serious injuries in a road accident. Charu is battling for life in Kokilaben Hospital in suburban Andheri after a car rammed into the autorickshaw in which she was travelling last week.

The 28-year-old won the National Award for special effects in Shahrukh-starrer sci-fi superhero thriller `Ra.One`. The actor had come alone to the hospital and was there for about an hour. He left without speaking to the media.
