There is a steep rise in competition among the next-gen actresses but interestingly the leading ladies don’t think twice before supporting or praising each other. However, that has not always been the case. Over the years, Bollywood has witnessed a number of spats between the leading ladies. From Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Kareena Kapoor To Aishwarya Rai, while some stayed true to the saying that two actresses can never be friends, others eventually resolved their enmity.

Take a look at some of the most infamous Bollywood catfights that left even the fans shocked –

Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor

Priyanka and Kareena’s feud dates back to the early days of their career when they worked together in Aitraaz. Bebo kept taking digs at PC as the fact that Priyanka’s performance garnered more praises than her in the movie didn’t go down well with her. Years later, the rivalry only got worse when Priyanka started dating Shahid Kapoor after his breaking with Kareena. In Koffee With Karan episode, Bebo took a jibe at Piggy Chop’s accent and asked where Chopra got her accent. To this Pee-Cee replied, “From the place from where Kapoor’s boyfriend has got it.”

However, eventually, both moved on and started praising each other instead of the silly jibes. The two stars also reunited on the Koffee With Karan couch where they laughed off their cat-fight instances.

Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma

It was around the same time that Deepika and Anushka debuted on Bollywood. There were always tensions between the two however the feud intensified when Deeps started dating Anushka’s ex-boyfriend Ranveer Singh. During an episode of Koffee with Karan, Sharma even bluntly said, “Deepika is not my friend”. However, the cold war eventually came to an end when Deepika invited Anushka to her wedding, now the two even hang out with their better halves together.

Aishwarya Rai – Sonam Kapoor

It all started when Sonam referred to Aishwarya as ‘aunty’, while Aish stayed silent on the matter and people thought things had resolved, but that wasn’t the case. Sonam had replaced Aish as the face of L’Oreal which reignited the past tension.  Sometime later, when Kapoor was dreaming of walking the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival with Bachchan, the latter refused to do so, shattering her dreams. The two never really resolves their differences as such and were also never seen together on-screen or off-screen.
