Hrithik Roshan, Abhishek Bachchan -FC
Farah Khan’s mother Menaka Irani passed away a day ago after multiple surgeries. She was 79 years old and was living with Farah’s brother Sajid Khan. Earlier in the day Shah Rukh Khan was spotted visiting Farah and Sajid with his wife Gauri Khan, Suhana Khan, and manager Pooja Dadlani to pay his respects to the deceased.
A few hours later Abhishek Bachchan was also clicked visiting Farah along with his sister Shweta and nephew Agastya Nanda. Interestingly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who has also been very close to Farah Khan and was an important part of Farah’s wedding with Shirish Kunder was nowhere to be seen which is why fans kept on wondering why Ash did not accompany Abhi.
The two have not been spotted publicly together for a long time now although clips of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya sitting with the Guru actor all through the Anant Ambani wedding went viral when the Ambani wedding mania was at its peak.
Apart from Abhishek, another Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan was also spotted visiting Farah Khan’s old house to pay his respects to the late Maneka Irani. As is known Maneka was the sister of Daisy Irani and Honey Irani who were popular child artists during the 50s. Honey Irani is the first wife of Javed Akhtar and shares two children –Zoya and Farhan Akhtar with him. Both Zoya and Farhan are today renowned filmmakers in Bollywood.
Incidentally, even Maneka Irani had played a female lead alongside none other than Salim Khan- father of Salman Khan in a movie titled Bachpan released in 1963. However, the movie went unnoticed and Menaka ended up marrying Farah and Sajid Khan’s father Kamran Khan who was a stuntman turned filmmaker. When his movies flopped he became an alcoholic which forced Menaka to leave Kamran with her two children and had to stay with Honey Irani.
