A couple of years ago, rumors went adrift that Anushka Sharma reduced her endorsement fee to half simply to attract deals that belonged to the Mastani of Bollywood. It greatly enraged the wife of the Indian cricket team captain.
Hitting back at these allegations, Anushka said, "There is no comparison between Deepika and me. There is no connection, nothing links us. We do different types of films. She has done more films than me. I am very choosy. I have not picked up just any role that came my way."
On whether she did slash her endorsement fee, Anushka Sharma said, "I don't need to do that I have enough brands. Each brand has renewed the contracts many times. I don't think that happens with many heroines. I must be doing something right."
Anushka Firmly Stated, 'I never pull anybody down'
Discussing how exactly she felt about Deepika Padukone trying to pull her down, the Jab Harry Met Sejal actress made her thoughts very clear.
She said, "A friend of Deepika had called up to say Deepika is doing Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani and not Anushka. My friends don't call, do they? I am Kashyap and Hirani's heroine she is Ayan's and whoever's. I never pull anybody down. Stop throwing garbage at me as I don't throw garbage at you. I am in a good position myself. Nobody can take it away from me."
Anushka Sharma currently is pregnant and in UAE with Virat for IPL 2020. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone is facing drug allegations after her chat with Karishma Prakash went viral.
