Eastwoods Hereafter pulled from Japan theaters

The film, directed by Eastwood, is subjected on tsunami and a distributor has decided to stop showing it, saying the terrifying scenes were "not appropriate" at this time, reported a daily.

`Hereafter` opened in Japan late last month and was shown in 180 theaters. The movie was initially planned to be shown on the big screen until late March but has now been pulled.

Japan was hit by a massive 8.9 magnitude earthquake and tsunami on Friday which has left more than 1,000 dead and at least 10,000 missing.
