Nashik: Fans of Father of Indian cinema Dadasaheb Phalke can catch a glimpse of his old car soon, thanks to an initiative by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).

The `Morris` car owned by the legendary filmamker, who was born in the city, would be displayed at the Phalke Museum here.

MNS leader and City Mayor Yatin Wagh told reporters on Friday that his party has taken up the task of renovating the old car. In this context, he and MNS legislator Vasant Gite inspected the car, currently lying in a garage, and issued necessary instructions for its repair, painting, and changing of the old and worn out parts.
