Aish to be honoured at Vishwa Kannada meet

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be honoured for her contribution to and achievement in the arts and culture segment in India and the world over, her spokesperson said on Saturday.

The objective of the Vishwa Kannada Sammelan is to showcase the developments achieved by Karnataka in fields like agriculture, information technology, biotech, industry, arts and culture.

People of Karnataka origin who have made it big outside the state and abroad in any of these fields would be honoured at the three-day meet.
