Are Ranveer, Deepika going through rough patch with Heeramandi director?

The premiere of Heeramandi- the huge digital debut project helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali was held yesterday evening. Most of the celebrities connected with the series including Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Richa Sharma, and others were present along with SLB himself. Moreover, a few of his close friends and associates like Alia Bhatt, Soni Razdan, Neetu Kapoor, and Salman Khan were also present on the occasion.

But what was surprising was the absence of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who have done three back-to-back mega hits with SLB. Rather the couple found love during the shooting of SLB’s first movie and today they are happily married. Until a few months ago all was quite well between Ranveer, Deeps, and SLB.

But ever since Sanjay Leela Bhansali announced Love and War movie based on Raj Kapoor’s Sangam that will feature Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal things have sort of soured between the couple and the famous director.

Much earlier there were rumours that Sanjay Leela Bhansali wanted to do a project with Deeps and Ranveer but then the Om Shanti Om actress demanded paycheck equal to her male co-star and then the discussions were dropped.

There is however a strong buzz that Deepika Padukone is currently in London and that is the reason she could not make it to the Heeramandi premiere. But fans are wondering why Ranveer Singh failed to reach the venue. On the positive side, fans of SLB were happy to see Salman Khan coming out to support his Khamoshi director.

The two were supposed to reunite for the project Inshallah with Alia Bhatt as the female lead but had a fallout due to creative differences. Now that Bhaijaan is back to talking terms with SLB, there is a strong chance that the duo might revive their old project or plan out a new one.
