Mumbai: After giving a smashing box office hit in `Dabangg` last year, director Abhinav Kashyap has said his next venture is a typical Hindi masala film to be shot in Australia, but it has no reference to the racial attacks on Indians in the island country.

Kashyap`s second directorial venture, tentatively titled `Project 18`, will be produced by Viacom Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Australian Production Company Temple Productions.

"The film will be principally shot in Australia and structured to receive maximum benefits from the country. It is a Hindi masala film. There will be romance, drama, action, thrill and dance. The film has no resemblance or reference to racial attacks on Indians. It will not be an issue-based film," he told PTI in an interview.

"India media reports negative things about Australia - the attacks on Indians. But what we don`t see are good things happening with the Indian community in Australia. Indians are getting a lot of benefits there and are enjoying their life.

My film is more about these aspects."

Asked if the film has any message in the backdrop of racial attacks on Indians, Kashyap said, "No comments. I don`t know anything about racial attacks. I don`t know if they are racial attacks. I have read about them in newspapers. All I can say is the film has no reference to racial attacks."

On the star cast, the director-writer, said, "Nothing has been finalised about the cast yet. I will finalise the cast once I am done with the script.

Then I will approach actors. There will be a mix of actors - the main cast will be from India and the support cast from Australia."

Kashyap roped in Salman Khan for his debut film `Dabangg`, and in his second movie also the director intends to bank on an established star.

"I would like to go with an established star.

Establish names always help you get a bigger release and reach out to more people. So even in this film I would like to go out with these stars."

Asked if he was hinting at Shahrukh Khan, Kashyap said, "I have met Shahrukh. I hope to work with him. As of now there is no film with him. If I get a chance, I will work with him."

The film be on floors in the last quarter of 2011 and will be released mid next year.
