(image) New Delhi: From flirtatious, romantic to rock and religious, director-composer Vishal Bhardwaj presents a mixed bag of emotions in the music album of his upcoming film `7 Khoon Maaf`.

Bhardwaj has carved a niche for himself, not only with his kind of films, but also their music, as seen in `Omkara` and `Kaminey`. This Priyanka Chopra starrer black comedy carries the trend forward.

The first track `Darling`, already a chartbuster, is adapted from the Russian folk song `Kalinka`. Bhardwaj has retained the military drill-styled beats, making it a peppy, danceable track. Veteran singer Usha Uthup`s powerful voice, alongwith Rekha Bhardwaj`s earthy rendition is the perfect combination, carrying the spirit of a feisty woman.

`Doosri Darling`, expressing the songstress` compassion for her Russian lover, starts off in high spirits, but the tempo slows down and picks up at places.
