Contract killer Alok Pradhan arrested by Aska Police

Berhampur: The Aska Police in Ganjam district arrested contract killer Alok Pradhan today in connection with the murder of two persons and an attempt to murder case. Police also arrested Kanhu Charan Sahoo, an associate of Pradhan.

According to sources, Pradhan is allegedly involved in the murder of Hatia Jena of Humuki village under Aska Police limits and Subhas Sahoo of Badagada village in Dharakote Police limits of Ganjam districts. The accused was also wanted for attempt to murder of former Inspector In-Charge (IIC) of Aska Police Station, Baleswar Gidh, informed sources.

Police seized a motorcycle, pistol, two live bullets and an empty magazine from the possession of  Pradhan. He was forwarded to court today, sources added.

Aska Police SDPO, Suryamani Pradhan said "Dreaded killer Alok Pradhan who was wanted in three cases was arrested by Aska Police for his involvement in the murder of Hatia Jena of Humuki and Subhas Sahoo of Badagada along with an attempt to murder case. He has confessed to all his crimes."
