Bhubaneswar: It’s now official. Left arm spinner Prgyan Ojha from Odisha is the third fastest Indian bowler to pick 100th wicket in Test Cricket. The 26-year-old Ojha reached the milestone when he took the wicket of Australian batsman James Pattinson on the second day of the fourth and final match of the series against Australia at Feroze Shah Kotla in New Delhi.
 
The Odia lad took three years and 32 days to complete his 100 wickets in Test cricket.
 
Ojha, who made his Test debut against Sri Lanka in Kanpur in 2009, has not played a single match in the longer format overseas. His best bowling figure (6/47) came against the West Indies in Mumbai in 2011. With today's achievement Ojha has become the 18th Indian overall and world's 163rd bowler to get to the 100-wicket figure.
 
The young left arm spinner is known for his ability to flight the ball. Pragyan Ojha also played for the Hyderabad cricket team and the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.
