One thousand youths get jobs in Nijukti Mela

One-day Nijukti Mela was jointly organised by Ganjam district administration in collaboration with the State Employment Mission (SEM) on Tuesday in which 21 private companies participated, official sources said today.

While 1040 unemployed youths have been recruited on the spot by the companies, as many as 634 others were selected to take training in the companies.

The companies are likely to engage them after successfully completing their training, sources said.

Over 3500 educated youths from different places of the district were registered in the employment rally before recruitment was made.
