Bhubaneswar: Congress leader and former MP Pradeep Majhi has targeted Odisha government in an innovative media with the help of social media Twitter.

With Twitter handle ‘#wakeupnaveen’, Majhi is leaving no chances to attack the BJD government.

In one tweet, Majhi said there was less difference between terror group Boko Haram and BJD. While one group was involved in terrorism through violence, another was spreading financial terrorism through chit funds.

On jaundice outbreak, the Congress leader wrote on the social media page the government was in deep sleep despite 103 police personnel were affected with the water-borne disease.

“For the last 15 years, it seems chief minister Naveen has been in deep slumber. Only promises and assurances have been given to the state’s people. My personal opinion is that he (Naveen) should wake up and sort out the basic issues,” added Majhi.

Reacting to the news, BJD spokesperson Pratap Jena said, “If Naveen Patnaik is not awake, how he has been getting praises from the people of Odisha and elected for fourth time as CM.”

There is no objection to give personal opinions on social media. But, those statements should be acceptable, he added.
