IPS Aditya Srivastava has emerged as the topper of recently announced Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2023 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Interestingly,  Aditya has not only become the topper, but has also created two unique records in his name.

In UPSC CSE, one of the toughest examinations in the world, Adityahas done what even the toppers in the last 10 years, including IAS Tina Dabi could not do.  Along with topping UPSC, Aditya, a resident of Lucknow, UP, has made the record of securing the highest marks in UPSC interview among the toppers of the last ten years.

Interestingly, Aditya has beaten popular IAS Tina Dabi to secure more marks in the interview round.

However, he has got the highest marks in the interview round only among the toppers. Even though Aditya has been the topper of UPSC 2023, the maximum marks of 215 in the interview have been achieved by Aniket Shandilya Rank-12, Yogesh Dilhore Rank 55, Kshetrimayum Deepi Chanu Rank 508.

Apart from this, he has also created a record of becoming UPSC topper while being an IPS. Aditya Srivastava has secured a total of 1099 marks. Of these, he got 899 marks for written examination and 200 marks for interview.

With a total of 1099 marks, he is the highest mark getter in the last five years. Before Aditya, in the year 2018, topper Kanishk Kataria had secured a total of 1121 marks.

In the UPSC result which was declared on April 16, at least 1016 candidates among lakhs of aspirants have passed. Among these, there are 112 candidates who have scored more than 200 marks in the interview.
