India needs to be vigilant post Osamas death

"Yesterday, in the meeting (with the army top brass) I have explained my assessment of the possible security scenario after Bin Laden incident. There can be a fall-out, so we need to be more vigilant," he said while answering a question.

The minister was talking to reporters at Vasco, near here, where he had come to commission first and second phase of Goa Shipyard Limited`s modernisation project.

"I can assure you that our armed forces are on guard," he said.

He also said the growing relations between China and Pakistan was a matter of concern. "But the real answer to it is that we have to strengthen our capabilities, and precisely that is what we are doing."
