Infuriated, Ram decided not take a grain of rice from Sita. He constructed a hut nearby & started living separately. Meanwhile, 42 years have elapsed. Ram still stays separately. He has not taken rice since. Puffed rice has become his main diet.

The deceased couple has been identified as Satyaniranjan Das (55) and Gayatri Das (50) from Berhampur. The other deceased is Rakesh Nanda, a friend of Satyaranjan’s nephew.
As per the latest reports, out of the 278 dead bodies, 177 bodies have been identified so far. The rest of the bodies are kept at six hospitals in Bhubaneswar; AIIMS, Capital Hospital, SUM Hospital, KIMS, Hitech Hospital, and AMRI Hospital.
