Whenever she talks about Lord Ganesh, her eyes get filled with tears. She believes that she has regained her life because of him. Just a quick glance at her, you will see her body is filled with tattoos of gods and goddesses along with some shlokas, her attire is influenced by Indian attires, and her tilak and kumkum are finding their roots in India. She is a Russian woman-Natasha. Anyone can get mesmerized by Natasha’s charismatic appearance. At the time when the current generation is mostly getting tempted by western culture, this foreign lady is scripting the Indian tradition in her body. Natasha told that her spinal cord was affected after a near-fatal accident. Doctors told her that she will not be able to walk. At that time she heard about the gods and goddesses of India. She came to Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and started praying Lord Ganesha along with Sadhus. She believes her health condition started to improve since the day she was indulged in devotion. Natasha lives in Varanasi. She keeps on travelling many religious places in India. She aspires to live in India forever. On her visit to Odisha, she says that she feels that Ganesha resides in the bodies of Animals. Thus she was searching for a place to take care of cows or to do ‘go-sewa’ while she was travelling and thus, she came here to Bhubaneswar. She often feels that she is very much a part of India.
