Alongside the new iPhone 15 series, Apple also announced the latest additions to their wearable technology lineup: the Apple Watch Series 9 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2.For the iPhone 15 Series, production had already commenced in Tamil Nadu at a Foxconn Technology Group's plant in Sriperumbudur, which was fully prepared to manufacture these new iPhones.This collection includes four models: the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. They all feature a unique feature called Dynamic Island. Dynamic Island allows users to display the time and date, show notifications, control music, and much more.
This is Kerala’s fourth outbreak of Nipah, a rare viral infection that at present has no cure or vaccine. Nipah is a zoonotic virus which is transmission of virus from animal to humans, which can be spread through contaminated food or directly between humans on exposure to secretions.The deadly brain-damaging virus is transmitted to humans through direct contact with the bodily fluids of infected bats, pigs or other people.According to Kerala Health Minister, there have been two deaths since August 30, and there are three active cases currently, including a 24-year-old health professional who tested positive for Nipah on Wednesday night.At least 706 people including 153 health workers underwent tests to check the spread of the virus, the results of which are awaited.
At least five people have died in Odisha’s Bargarh in last few days due to scrub typhus infection, which spreads through bites of infected chiggers. While two of the deceased were from Sohela block, one death was reported from Attabira, Bheden and Barpali blocks of the district.
