Morocco Earthquake: Search Intensfies As Death Toll Rises To 296, PM Modi Expresses Grief

At least 296 people killed, many injured as powerful earthquake of magnitude 6.8 strikes central Morocco late on Friday.Morocco’s Interior Ministry informed that at least 296 people died in the provinces near the quake.This apart, 153 injured persons were rushed to different hospitals for treatment.Most damage occurred outside of cities and towns, however, authorities are yet to ascertain scale of damage.
