The Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), Odisha, has issued an advisory to the Collectors of nine districts regarding forecast of heavy rainfall in the next two days.
Ahead of the landfall of the cyclonic storm Yaas between Odisha and West Bengal coast on May 26th, the regional centre of India Meteorological Centre (IMD) on Sunday (May 23) issued red and yellow warning for several coastal districts in the state, wherein heavy rainfall and thunderstorms will be witnessed.
