The funds released from the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF), will be utilised in the state's five municipal corporations, 48 municipalities and 61 notified area councils (NACS).

The two-week lockdown enforced in the State on May 5 was set to end on May 19 but after thorough consultation with health experts, the government has extended the lockdown for two more weeks.
Capital Hospital Director Laxmidhar Sahu on Thursday said that the Covid-19 graph in Odisha is in a flattening mode at present but cautioned that if the curve does not make a downward trend, the government may have to ponder on extending the lockdown restrictions in the State.
