The Odisha Health and Family Welfare Department has directed all state-run medical colleges and hospitals for strict monitoring and crackdown on brokers or middlemen indulged in diverting patients to private clinics and hospitals from OPDs of government hospitals across the State.
It has also been instructed to take immediate steps to put in place proper signboards in Odia and English from the point of entry to the hospital, giving clear directions/route charts to the location of various OPD Departments
