In the budget, the government has made an allocation of Rs 750 crore for Ama Hospital Yojana. Under this scheme, as many as 147 hospitals will see a transformation in a period of one year.
From this year, 200 meritorious students selected through entrance exam will be provided free coaching for Civil Services Examination along with free lodging and boarding facilities, announced the state government.
While presenting the full-fledged budget of Rs 2.3 lakh crore for the financial year 2023-24, Pujari said steps are being taken for the recruitment of 1799 Junior Assistants and 335 posts of Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs).

Odisha Finance Minister Niranjan Pujari on Saturday presented the annual budget estimates for the financial year 2022-23 in the State Assembly with an outlay of Rs 2 lakh crore.
The annual budget for the financial year 2022-23 will be presented on March 30.
The elections to Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI) in the State will be held in five phases between February 16 and 24.
