Former Odisha Chief Minister Giridhar Gamang and his son Shishir Gamang resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday. The father-son duo announced their registration from the party at a presser in Bhubaneswar.

A team from Andhra Pradesh on Thursday visited the tribal museum in Koraput district. They said they were there to get an idea of a tribal museum as their government is going to set up a similar museum in their state spending Rs 35 crore.

The five-member team led by chief engineer of Tribal Welfare department Shreenivas reached the tribal museum in Koraput. The team has two professors and two curators. They visited all the galleries of the museum.
