People took to Twitter with images and videos they captured of Jupiter along with its four largest moons.
New images show distinct bands that encircle Jupiter as well as the Great Red Spot, a storm big enough to swallow the Earth.
The conjunction was brightest on Friday morning but will remain visible until Monday from most parts of the world.
