The Lord Jagannath temple at Puri will reopen for the public from February 1 with strict adherence to Covid protocol, Puri Collector Samarth Verma informed reporters on Friday. 

The world-famous Jagannath Temple in Puri will reopen its gates for entry of devotees from August 16. The 12th-century shrine will be reopened for the first time in more than three months of staying off the limits to the public in the wake of the second wave of Covid pandemic.
