Hijab Case In Supreme Court: Lawyers React

During the hearing, the petitioners contended that the high court had wrongly relied upon essential religious practice test for the purpose.

The prescription of school uniform is only a reasonable restriction, constitutionally permissible which the students cannot object to, the high court said.
