India’s first Nobel laureate Tagore, composed the parent song, ‘Bharoto Bhagyo Bidhata’ on December 11, 1911. It is a Brahmo hymn and has five verses. However, only the first verse has been adopted as the National Anthem.

Honouring PM Narendra Modi's clarion call of 'Har Ghar Tiranga', India is witnessing record participation from people across different walks of life to mark Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, 75 years of country's independence. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, entire India has joined to celebrate 'Har Ghar Tiranga' movement.

Legendary Indian cricketer master blaster Sachin Tendulkar hoisted the tricolour at his home in Mumbai as part of the country’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. Dil Mein Bhi Tiranga, Ghar Par Bhi Tiranga, said Sachin. Watch this video.

As India completes 75 years of independence, people across the country have now come together to salute our Tricolour, the symbol of pride and unity under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

Amid the ongoing ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, small businesses manufacturing National Flag and Tricolour-inspired merchandise are seeing brisk business. These kite manufacturers from Lucknow are seeing a surge in demand as people flock their shop in order to get their hands on their variety of Tricolour kites.

The Chief Minister, however, said that he has good terms with Khan and they often speak over the telephone.

As part of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Indian Coast Guard (ICG) performed an underwater flag demo at Sea. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag. Watch this awesome video.

He said that July 22 has a special relevance in the country's history as on this day in 1947, the National Flag was adopted.

"During national office-bearers meet, draft of resolutions was discussed," former Rajasthan Chief Minister Raje said.
