The Indian Railways has cancelled and diverted many trains under the SECR and ECoR owing to safety related modernisation works to be undertaken
The East-Coast Railway is going to cancel several trains originating and terminating under its jurisdiction in view of safety-related modernisation works under Nagpur division of SEC Railway jurisdiction from August 6-14, 2022
Barring the Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad Garib Rath Express, all the originating trains from the ECoR jurisdiction, that were suspended during the coronavirus-induced lockdowns, have been resumed.
As per notification, it is being done for commissioning of Double line work between Maneswar-Hatibari-Jujomura Railway Section in the Angul-Sambalpur route and modernisation work in Lakholi-Titilagarh-Theruvali Railway Section.
As per official sources, the ECoR has decided to provide Rajdhani Coach like facilities in three trains originating from its jurisdiction.
