Suresh Pujari, BJP’s Lok Sabha MP from Bargarh, has demanded Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to handover the probe of Dalit youth Gobinda Kumbhar’s death in police custody to an independent agency for free and fair investigation.

Alleging that police excess led to the death of Gobinda Kumbhar, a resident of Tora village, his brother Jiten Kumbhar has demanded stringent punishment for the culprits. "I demand harshest of punishment even up to hanging to those who have killed my brother," said Jiten.
