Kejriwal, who was arrested from his residence by the ED in connection with the excise policy case on Thursday evening, had earlier moved the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court order denying him protection from any 'coercive action' by the ED. Incidentally, soon after the Speaker made the remarks, the ED arrested Kejriwal from his residence after a two-hour grilling in connection with the alleged excise policy scam.
The AAP chief was arrested after over two hours of questioning by an ED team, which included a Joint Director, at his residence.
A bench of Justices Suresh Kumar Kait and Manoj Jain listed the AAP leader's application seeking protection for further consideration on April 22 when his main petition challenging the summons is fixed for hearing.
The sources said that CM Kejriwal has been asked to appear before the probe agency on March 21.
In another development, a Delhi Court has asked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to appear before it on March 16. The order was issued after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) filed a fresh complaint against the Aam Admi Party Supremo for evading its summons.
His response came after ED had issued eight summons to Kejriwal on February 27 and asked him to appear before it on March 4.
The sources said that Kejriwal has been asked to appear before ED on March 4.

The financial probe agency's complaint alleged that Kejriwal intentionally did not want to obey the summons and kept on giving “lame excuses.”
