Incidentally, soon after the Speaker made the remarks, the ED arrested Kejriwal from his residence after a two-hour grilling in connection with the alleged excise policy scam.

The sources said that Kejriwal has been asked to appear before ED on March 4.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued seventh summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to appear before it in connection with the alleged excise policy scam, said the sources. Kejriwal has been asked to appear before the financial probe agency on February 26, informed the sources.

The financial probe agency's complaint alleged that Kejriwal intentionally did not want to obey the summons and kept on giving “lame excuses.”

About 10-12 premises in the national capital are being covered as part of the raids being undertaken under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
