Melbourne: Indian tennis player Yuki Bhambri Saturday qualified for the main draw of the Australian Open and will take on sixth seed and reigning Olympic champion Andy Murray of Scotland on Monday.

Delhi boy Bhambri defeated American Chase Buchanan 6-3, 6-4 in one hour and 15 minutes in the third and final round of the qualifiers here Saturday.

The 22-year-old Bhambri had also won the junior men's singles title at the Australian Open in 2009. He is the only Indian singles player in the main draw of the Major.
