In back-to-back jolts for the ruling-BJD in Odisha, former MLA and actor Akash Das Nayak, and MP Anubhav Mohanty resigned from the party on Saturday.
The actor-turned-political today resigned from the primary membership of BJD. Mohanty has submitted his resignation to party president and CM Naveen Patnaik.
The prohibition period is set to commence from 7 a.m. on April 19, and conclude at 6:30 p.m. on June 1.
