World's biggest sand ribbon at Konark beach

Konark: Sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik on Friday claimed to have created the world's biggest red ribbon at Chandrabhaga beach here during the 2ndInternational Sand Art Festival organised by Odisha Tourism.

"As lots of tourists come here, I chose this place to create a sand sculpture on AIDS and spread awareness through my art," Sudarsan, who is the brand ambassador of the festival, said.

Sudarshan's creation was a a 100 ft long and 40 ft wide sand ribbon with figures of a man and woman with coloured sand.
