Weather Warning: Thunderstorm alert issued for 8 Odisha districts

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar today issued thunderstorm and lightning alert for eight Odisha districts.

As per the latest weather forecast, moderate thunderstorm is likely to occur at one or two places in the districts Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Angul, Sonepur, Boudh and Deogarh between 7: 30 AM at 10:30 AM today.

Several parts of Odisha including coastal districts including Cuttack and Bhubaneswar received rainfall in the past 24 hours.

The fresh spell of rain provided some respite to the people in the Twin city from excess humid conditions prevailing for the past 48 hours.
